- best unbiased reviews of legal mp3's? /share-the-music-weblog?
- Posted by Robert Nagle on September 7th, 2003
Hi, I am interested in collecting only free or legal mp3's (with
preference toward those that explicitly allow redistribution through
p2p networks).
I've started a weblog that reviews free mp3 downloads.
http://www.imaginaryplanet.net/weblogs/sharethemusic/
I'm interested only in non-RIAA groups (and probably even unsigned
artists).
I'm curious; where do you go to find unbiased recommendations/reviews
of free mp3's downloads? I'm assuming that mp3.com is not a source of
reliable information, although maybe the forums are different).
I know this is an age-old question, but I searched the last few
hundred posts on this newsgroup and didn't find much help.

This has to be the most hilarious newsgroup remark I have ever heard
on a newsgroup.
I just finished an interview with a developer of a new music sharing
application

I bought the domain name www.sharethemusicday.com as a protest RIAA
site and consider myself a free music advocate

BTW, I found the answer to my question.
http://www.godsofmusic.com/gom/index.php is a great site that reviews
mp3 downloads.
Thanks, you delightfully inarticulate troll. I've learned my lesson:
that intelligent thought is rare in some newsgroups.

However, you're mostly right, other than only claiming that such
thought is rare in "some" newsgroups, and not, say, most newsgroups.
