Hmm... Just ordered an iPod. I have no idea what .EM3 is but there's no easy
to find tech info on it on the site and other than a vague promise that it
is supported by "most music players" no indication it would work on an iPod.
And you've got to install an ActiveX component just to listen to a sample...

Will an encrypted file format stop Internet piracy: not any time soon...
Will it make more sales for your artist: Only if more people would download
their work for free and not buy it from your site than people who might buy
it from your site will never get to hear it because they don't want to be
bothered with some new format of dubious compatibility and installing yet
another layer of crap on their browsers...
Will your artists gain more exposure through a dependence on encrypted file
formats than on a ubiquitous open format: I don't think so...
