- commandline mp3 utilities
- Posted by name on December 27th, 2004
Hi.
I'm thinking of writing a prolog program to manage my massive mp3
collection, using various commandline utilities to analize mp3s,
scan mp3s for errors, rename and edit tag information, playing mp3s,
downloading mp3s, rating/reviewing mp3s, etc...
Does anyone know of any mp3 utilities/programs with a commandline
interface that might be used for this?
In prolog it's probably easier to interface with programs via the
commandline instead of via a graphical userinterface.
It is possible in prolog to interface with the web so you can
use sites like allmusic.com to look up tracklistings.
Any suggestions are appreciated, thanks in advance, Niek
