I just bought the Creative MUVO TX FM MP3 player. It's the 256 Meg
version and is upgraded to the latest firmware. The problem is I
can't get it to be recognized by my desktop. I have tried it on a
friend's desktop as well as my laptop and it works fine but when I
insert it in the desktop it says USB Device not recognized. The drive
does not appear in windows explorer. It doesn't work in any of the
USB ports on that computer but I know since it works on other
computers it can't be a problem with the MP3 player. I know it must be
some type of conflict with another device. I do have a HP scanner that
once when I installed the MP3 player it popped asking what program to
use to scan so that may be the problem but yet it doesnt' recognize it
when I have the scanner unplugged. Any idea of how to fix this? I
have WinXP with SP2.
