- Edit ID3 tag but not created/modified file tag

Hi
How can I edit ID3 tags but retain the file created/modified tag? And/or
insert ID3 tags from filename
Reason being, I like to keep the date at which I downloaded the MP3 and be
able to list my music in order of which I downloaded it.

Mp3tag is a free tag editor which has the option to keep the modification
date of the files, when writing or removing tags. It also writes tags
from the filename or from the freedb online database.
