Hi all,
I'm in the process of adding true PDF cover output to my (free) MP3 CD
Automagic CD Cover Creator (MACCC) and just looking for a little
feedback. Feel free to reply to this thread or email me directly at
maccc-feedback@NOJUNKMAILfilenabber.com (remove NOJUNKMAIL)
Ok, on to the questions/feedback topics...
It looks like I can easily fit up to 279 MP3s onto the front and back of
a standard jewel case cover. Does anyone have CDs with more than that?
I'm also adding in support for slimline cases (i.e. - just the front).
I'll add in support for front booklets too after jewel and slimline are
done.
Typically, my CDs range in size from 110-180 MP3s with 8-10 full albums.
I put the albums in a folder named Artist-Album in the root of the CD. I
like the Folder names BOLD and highlighted on the cover so the albums
are easier to find while driving
I have ZERO desire for pictures on my covers - I'd much rather have room
for the MP3 data. Do others feel this way too or does everyone want
pictures on their covers? If you do want pictures - tell me how you'd
like to see them on the cover. Big? small? All on the back with none on
the front? etc. etc. I can add picture support but haevn;t done this
since *I* don't want/need it.
I have a narrow view of how others want their MP3 CD covers since I
always do it one way for myself. I'd like to get others' thoughts.
Any/all feedback is welcome. I'd like to make this tool useful to as
many people as possible. If anyone wants to email me directly, email me
MACCC is free. Give it a try - it already has support for plain text
output, CDinsert output (and thus PDF indirectly), CDRLabel output, and
HTML output. Are there anty other CD Cover making programs that make
really good covers but just don't have good MP3 support? If so, let me
know and I'll see if I can start supporting these other programs too
(assuming I can output a file in the format the program accepts)
The CDInsert covers look fabulous, but I want to cut out the middleman
and have MACCC output PDF directly - saves a step or two
