I put my trance mixes together using Mixmeister 7.2 and master the mix using
Izotope Ozone 3 which is excellent by the way and well worth the money. On
my website I use a free player supplied by my file host, File Factory, again
it is very good, but for one annoying problem.

When I upload the mixes I simply have to drop them into a music widget (the
player) and they appear on my website ready to listen to. I use the same
methods on every mix, 160kbps quality, but for some reason the player is
reading them as mp3 files but not "legitimate" mp3 files.

They still appear on the player and they still play, but not for the full
duration and they do not display a total play time, this does not happen to
every upload just enough to be frustrating, people are put off downloading
the mixes assuming that fault lies with the mix and not the player.

I am not getting much joy from File Factory regarding the problem so I
wanted to find a really simple but good quality player that I could use
instead, but not to play files uploaded to my webspace, they would have to
play them from a remotely hosted source. I would appreciate any suggestions
that might find a solution to my problem.
