- how to convert mid to wav for CD

I have a music file in midi format.
How can I convert this midi format into wav format so that I can write it to
the CD-R to play in CD player?
I am using Winamp 2.78c in Windows XP system.
Can you please tell me how to convert? thank you.

From [Tools]->[Record Wav] or {Alt+R}. Give the target file a name, press [Start Record]
and play your midi file in WinAmp.

I understand you can convert from mp3 to wav in WinAmp.

I tried to download WinAmp v2.91 but no longer available.
I am using WinAmp 2.78c.
In the input Midi plug in V2.6e [in_midi.dll],
when I configure device, I cannot DiectMusic / Microsoft Synthesizer (with
output),
I can only find DM/ Microsoft Synthesizer.
Your help is much appreciated.
