How do I make a track list cover in Nero Cover Designer?
Posted by Jyeshta on December 13th, 2004

I've been fooling around with Nero cover designer and I can't figure
out how to put the track listing onto the blank page template. Can
anyone help? Many thanks.

Right click in the field and go to Insert->Track List. Then, select
the area in which to drop in the track list, by dragging a mouse click
from one corner of the field to the other. After that, you can right
click on the list area and go to Properties to modify the format of
the list, and the colors used.

Hi Joel,

Thank you, I did that, but the tracks aren't showing up, only the
rectangular area for them, and "print preview" shows blank cover with
the rectangular outline where the tracks should be. What should I do
to make the tracks show up on screen? Many thanks!

I tried hitting "burn same project again" in order to get the track
list in view, then I selected them all and tried to copy and paste
them into the field, which didn't work. Now, I've lost that option,
although I did save the project file. Is it too late to import that
track listing into the blank template cover? Thanks!

I assume by project file you mean the actual disc info from the main
program. You should open it again, and go to File->Print Disc Cover.
That should get things on track (no pun intended).

No, I only have the StartSmart version, or whatever it's called. It's
just like Nero Express was. It came with my new burner (and it
doesn't even have the wave editor anymore!). I think I'm just totally
stmied with this. It does do it though, for those who know how,
right? You don't have to manually type in the track list yourself,
right? I just can't figure the thing out. Thanks again, Joel.

I got it! The track list is in the template! Now, the problem is
that it won't print... any suggestions? Do I have to do something
besides click on print to get it to print? Thanks!

The problem was that I'm an idiot! Printer wasn't connected. Well, I
finally have a printed out track list. Nero doubled the track list
for some reason, but at least I got it. Thanks again, Joel!

Nero came with my new burner too, and I have the same problem. I gave up
and use the FREE Cover10 insert maker. Actually I prefer to use another
FREE burner program altogether called CDBrunerXP-Pro3. It supports the
buffer-underrun protection of the new burners.
