Is there anyway in iTune that I can list all the mp3 which I moved them
somewhere else in my desktop and when I click on them I get error : "
the mp3 xxx could not be used because the original file moved" and
delete this links?

delete all tracks in your librairy (not from HDD) and just add the files
again....

I'm always worried about losing all of my many, many ratings over
something like this, so from time to time, I go through and copy all
of my iTunes ratings into the "Disc #" field.

So my 2-star songs become "Disc #2," and so on.

If I ever have to re-drag songs into iTunes, the ratings will be lost
but the disc #'s will remain, so I can restore my ratings quickly.
