- Posted by soalvajavab1@yahoo.com on March 4th, 2007
Hi
I am on Win XP. I moved my iTune all Mp3 from old laptop to new
laptop , also lib XML, I have all my misuc and playlists and artworks
now. BUT I don't have my counts and original date added, they reset. I
really need them too. Is there any easy way at this moment to have
these two as well.

does your iPod contain a mirror image of what was on your old laptop.
if it does then you could try iGadget.........

You can back up your library to DVD or CD, and restore them to their new
location. The back up in in the file menu. You can pick your whole
library or just the purchased folder. This is how I migrated my stiff
when I replaced my 120 GB for a 400. If you have multiple users on your
old computer you'll have to back each up . The process takes a long
time, especially the restore.
