Mp3 players with fast rewind and fast forward
Posted by gmguyx on June 6th, 2008

I currently own a Sandisk Sansa mp3 player and the rewind and fast
forward is agonizingly slow. I know the ipod rewind/fast forward is
good because I tried it out at the store. However, it's a little pricy
for me so I'm thinking about getting the Creative Zen instead. Does
anybody have experience with rewind and fast forward for the Zen or
any other players? It's very important to me because I listen to a lot
of audio books. Thank you.

Well I have three iRiver T10 players and it sports a faster rewind and
fast forward modes (they call study mode -- can skip through 20 minutes
worth in a few seconds). As well as regular rewind and fast forward
modes. And both are settable for a number of speeds. Uses regular AA
batteries and will play for about 50 hours. They can be purchased used
on eBay for as little as $30 sometimes.
