- Power supply for an mp3 player? (Archos Jukebox Recorder 15)
- Posted by cens0red on July 26th, 2005
Hi. Just managed to score a 15 gig mp3 player off of ebay quite cheaply,
but without power supply. The model is an Archos Jukebox Recorder 15.
Anyone familiar with the model?
According to the FAQ on the archos site, the output power for the AC
adaptor is 9V DC, 600mA. Would anybody know if I can just use a
standard AC adaptor from Radioshack or whatever? Or do I need some sort of
special wall charger/adaptor like you use with mobile phones?

The supply needs to supply 600ma (.6A) or more, and the voltage 9V.
If you connect it the wrong way round, it may die.
