Hi there,

I bought couple of days ago Sony's NW-E003F player. I have problem when I'm
trying to import MP3 files to NW-E003F. All MP3 files must transfer to
NW-E003F with Sonicstage program. When I try to transfer music to player I
get error message that says: 'Cannot find music files that are not
registered to SonicStage' Error code: 00007180.
All MP3 files that I try to transfer are regular MP3 files and most of them
with 192 kbs bitrate and 44 khz sample rate.

What could be the problem why Sonicstage doesn't want to transfer them to
NW-E003F? Is it possible that I'm doing something wrong with Sonicstage?
Should I convert first my MP3's to AAC format?

First thing I'd recommend trying is in FFDShow, to make sure that your
system is using the typical Fraunhofer MP3 decoder and not some other
engine.

I do have FFDShow on my pc. I'm using it for DivX and Xvid codecs and didn't
knew that FFSShow is messing audio codecs also. But like it says in
webpage -> http://sourceforge.net/projects/ffdshow it also includes several
audio codecs.
I'll try to change back Fraunhover's MP3 codec from FFSshow. Also I some
other directshow and VFW codec software.

I'm using currently most recent version Sonicstage
(http://www.sonydigital-link.com/DNA/sonicstage) which is build 4.0.
