Hello, group:

I have a SonicBlue Rio 800 player with a bad battery. I haven't been able
to find a replacement (I don't want to replace the whole battery/memory
pack).

Has anyone out there used a standard AA Nickel Metal-Hydride battery? How
has it effected your player?

Any help will be greatly appreciated. I like this player, except for the
proprietary memory/battery pack.
