- setting album tag setting for all files in folder
- Posted by Big Crunch on September 27th, 2006
What is a quick way for assigning the same album tag setting for all
files in a folder, rather than going thru each file one by one.
This wouldn't be an album name a program would look up, but just my
own person album name, like mix#5. Thanks.

OK, with that program I was able to use the key command control-v
repeatedly to copy the album info. Quicker than what I was doing.
Later I'll see if there is a quicker way.
My filenames do not contain the album name.

There is. With most taggers you would "select all", type in what you
want in the tag album field and have the program tag *all* selected
files with what you typed in.
Might help if you read the help.
