I posted a week or so ago with a problem of trying to combine CD music with
microphone input into a new MP3 file. dadiOH clued me in to using the "What
U Hear" option provided by Sound Blasters. Well, I figured out that the
reason I was having trouble enabling this option was because it didn't exist
with my USB SB MP3 box. I've since returned that and purchased/installed an
Audigy 2 internal card. First, the sound is *incredible* (I also have JBL
Creature 2.1 speakers). Second, low and behold, there is "What U Hear".
I'm set.

One sees a lot of postings with problems and questions - I wanted to follow
through with my solution and thanks. Thanks!
