Troubles running mp3Gain
Posted by Ole Kvaal on March 8th, 2006

Hi.
I just (re)installed mp3Gain, but on trying to run it, it keeps stopping
and tells me I am going to use a feature from a network resource that is
not available. I am asked to find another path leading to SmartSounds
Quicktrack Plugin.msi, which I can't even find by searching on my entire
machine. (Strange thing is, though, that it is listed in Control
Panel/Add_Remove Programs.) Any idea what I should do?

Have you tried uninstalling SmartSounds?
There is no reason mp3gain should require it.

It seems to have been installed with an update of Pinnacle Studio (video
editing), and I'm not quite sure whether I'll ever need the sound files
stored there . . .
