I have a Dell OptiPlex GX 270 with Windows XP Pro SP2 and I am not able to
get any applications to show in the Add or Remove Programs window. The
program starts and displays on the screen but the window where the
applications show never populates. I've done a REGSVR32 APPWIZ.CPL before
and that has cured the problem but it has not this time. When I open Add or
Remove now the harddrive just thrashes away but to no avail! Any suggestions
on a fix for this?
