address window in IE 6

I unchecked the address bar in the task bar in IE and I can not get the
address bar to show any address by ticking the address bar in either the top
or bottom task bar . How do I get the window to reappear and to show the
http://...etc information , please .

If you see the smallest piece of the Address Bar (usually the name)
then stretch the Address bar back to a normal size and move it if
necessary. If the Button Bar or some other bar is to the right of it,
you may want to move that to a different position first.

Don't forget to ensure "Lock the Toolbars" is unchecked in
View-Toolbars.

A further fix:

"The Internet Explorer Address bar is missing"

You can get a .reg file that will do Method 2 here:

sorry I got back so late
thanks alot . That was so easy a . I've looked at that address bar time
and time again but . . And I didn't find that information in the Help
files though I probably looked for the wrong thing . TA
