- Cannot find server or DNS error
- Posted by miloann2002 on February 18th, 2006
My standalone pc keeps getting above error message. I have a 4 port router.
The others are working fine with Internet access. I tested a few things and
here are the findings:
1. The pc has a different IP address than others that have a non-routable
address.
2. Sometimes, the pc has the normal non-routable address but still cannot
access Internet.
3. Sometimes, it showed Internet is accessible but limited.
4. I checked wsock32.dll but do not have duplicates
5. I reinstall Windows XP but the situation is the same.
Would this be a NIC problem?
Thanks.
