I used to change the sound used when I would receive a new email. Now, I
cannot remember how I used to do that. When I go to the control panel and
click sounds, the sound that is displayed for "receive new mail
notification", is not the sound that I am using. Where did I originally put
that sound? I am using Earthlink Mailbox. I'm tired of hearing that VW horn
blast every time I get mail.

Look in your Earthlink program's options and see if you can change the
sound from there.
