DEFAULT SETTINGS FOR "DETAILS" FOLDER VIEW?
Posted by astonpat on October 20th, 2005

I can't figure out how to set my default settings so that every time I open a
folder - every folder - it always comes up in "Details" mode.

Any help out there?

Hi

Open Windows Explorer and enable View>Details. Then go to Tools>Folder
Options>View and click on 'Apply to All Folders'. Restart Windows Explorer.

Set it up the way you want with *only one* explorer window open. Close,
then re-open. If more than one window is open the settings will only apply
to the window you make them in.
