Folder access denied!
Posted by Barney on September 27th, 2005

I have change my friends motherboard and cpu and also fitted a new 40Gb hard
drive.
I left his old hard drive in, as 'drive f' so that he could still access his
old docs, mp3's and photos etc.
The problem is that he put a tick next to 'Make this folder private' on his
old systems 'My documents' folder.
Now he cannot open the My documents folder on his old hard drive, the
message comes up saying 'Access is denied' and the tick box and 'Make this
folder private' is greyed out.
How can he regain access to his files?
Can anyone please help.
