Guest account versus Limited account security
Posted by pcnerd on February 8th, 2006

I have XP Pro with SP2. I have read that the Guest account should not be used
for security reasons. Which account is more "secure" , Guest or Limited?
Which account has more restrictions, Guest or Limited? Which account has
fewer privileges, Guest or Limited? Thank you.

The limited account (also known as a User account) has more privileges than
the Guest account and is more secure than the guest account. None of this
applies if your accounts are not password protected.
