- help with deleted items please
- Posted by Casey on October 22nd, 2005
Hi' everyone,
I am asking this question for a friend, she tells me that some emails
particularly mine to her, end up in her deleted items folder. She uses
Outlook Express as do I. & I.E., XP Home SP2. Would someone kindly be able
to advise me how I can help her sort this out, if you think it's a corrupt
file then I would appreciate instructions how to correct it as I am fairly
new to computers also.
Many thanks for any advice,
Casey.

Sounds like she is using OE filters (Message Rules) and your emails are
running afoul of the filters.
Have her check her message rules.

Thank you for responding, I'll send her an email and ask to check that but I
doubt it as I have not explained to her how to do all that yet. I'll come
back when she responds to me. Many thanks,
Casey.
