help re: xp pro/terminal services

Just starting a new xp pro... when it boots to the login screen I cannot
connect to it with terminal services from another xp pro machine... I get a
black screen.

Once the login has been completed all works but the whole idea of TS is remote
control and I will not always be available to manually login.

Any ideas?

TIA

Hi,

I've encountered that as well, and have not been able to resolve it. As a
workaround, I set the primary-use remote acccount to an autologon with a
short time-out. This way if the machine is rebooted, the account always logs
on immediately, thus making it available for remote sessions.
