often on shutting down I receice this message. iexplore.exe application
error. The instruction at "0x0472454d" referenced memory at "0x0472454d the
memory could not be read. Click OK to terminate program. Any help to explain
this error message would be great, do I have a virus or bug. I have used
symantic client server, ad-aware and spybot with no results.

Why is Internet Explorer still running when you shut down?

Don't you close it (or all instances that are running) before shutting down?

If you do close it, you probably have some sort of spyware or a virus.

Update your antivirus software and run a full system scan.

Update Ad-Aware and run a Full System scan

Update Spybot S&D and run a scan.
