Use "microsoft.public.test.here" with/out the quotation marks and you won't get into trouble. (;o

I just always got a kick out of Jr. Samples playing the used car salesman on
Hee Haw and that infamous 5 digit phone number BR549.

Yes it was meant for BR549 and I always "top" post. I don't like wading
through 10 tons of garbage.

So you read a book from the bottom up?
- Posted by Unknown on November 17th, 2005
No! I read posted items from the top down.

Answer: because it makes posts illogical
Question: Why is it not good to top-post?
See?

No, but I also don't reread what I've already read every time I turn the
page.
Bottom posting makes sense if you only read one post containing an entire
thread (historical). It does not make sense if you read each post
individually as they occur (real time). Which side of the debate you're on
depends on how you like to peruse usenet, neither side is any more "right"
than the other, though it's mostly the "left" that worry about things that
don't really matter <g>.
Me, I top post, bottom post, post in the middle - whatever suits me at that
given moment in time and seems appropriate to answer the question. I don't
care about posting protocol any more than I'd wear a three piece suit and
hat to work like my predecessors.

Answer: because it's not logical
Question: Why is top-posting not a good idea?
See?
