- Invalid Acive X /Com entries
- Posted by Tom Duprex on January 19th, 2006
I am running WindowsXP Pro SP2
From time to time I run Regseeker, a registry maintenance tool, and it
identifies a number of "Invalid Active X/Com" entries. What are these
entries in the registry and is it okay to remove them since they apparently
are being identified by Regseeker as items that should be cleaned out.
TIA

There is no way for anyone to answer you without examining the computer.
Do yourself a favor and do a Google Groups Advanced Search in
newsgroups microsoft.public.windowsxp.basics and
microsoft.public.windowsxp.general for "registry cleaners" and see what
the majority of techs (like me) think about using them.
