how can i know the ip address of the person i am chatting with in Yahoo
Messenger 7 or Msn msgr? is there a program for this or tweak?

How can i really know for sure the person who is offline is really offline,
i mean he is not in invisible mode or else?

can any one help in this regard..?

For sure the people who use MSN / Windows Messenger signs in with .NET
passport.If the password has been stolen that would be another question.
Use web-cam to be more than sure.

And some ISPs offers the ability to "Obtain an IP automatically" which means
the IP will vary and will change periodically.
