- Issues synchronizing time with time servers
- Posted by Odd-Sverre Østlie on December 5th, 2005
I've problems getting time synchronizing to work on my computer. I get an
error message "can't connect to time server" on both time.windows.com and
other time servers I've tried.
My system is a Windows Media Center, with XP service pack 2. I have a local
wireless network with a DSL gateway. My timezone and date are set correctly.
I have tried to turn off the gateway's firewall in addition to the Windows
firewall without luck.
Obviously it would be good to keep my computer on time for the TV guide and
recording features of the Media Center. :-(
Anyone have any clues to what I should try to make this work?
