J10 - Uninstalling Microsoft AntiSpyware (BETA)
Posted by ReiGuy on January 27th, 2006

I need to uninstall the MS Antispyware (Beta) from 98 Windows XP and Windows
2000 PCs. I would like to run a script via GPO, but all I find so far is
that you have to remove the application via Add/Remove Programs.

Is there a way to remove this program via a logon script to avoid going to
every PC and removing it manually?

Thanks

I think the OP means "98" to be the quantity of computers, not the OS.

Jupiter,

You are correct. I have a quantity of 98 PCs with a mix of Windows XP and
Windows 2K installed. Of all quantities, it would be one to create confusion!

Thanks for enlightening everyone, though!

I'll post my information in the noted newsgroup specific to MS AntiSpyware
this time.

Sincerely,
ReiGuy
