What does "just clears the screen" mean exactly? Please be more
descriptive. In the meantime, there may be some context entries from
older programs that are causing the problem in XP. Also check to see if
you have an older DivX installed.

Right-click is slow or weird behavior caused by context menu handlers -
http://windowsxp.mvps.org/slowrightclick.htm

Right click causes an error and crashes Explorer.exe after installing
Windows XP SP2 - http://www.winxptutor.com/sp2/divxcrash.htm

Manage the context-menu entries for folders, drives and Namespace
objects - http://windowsxp.mvps.org/context_folders.htm

I don't know if you meant to post anything those last two posts, but
nothing more was added. Please see the links I gave you, particularly
the one for DivX.
