legacy entries

I have 3 entries in the registry that are left over from an uninstalled
program. When I try to delete the keys I get a popup saying that they are
legacy entires and cannot be deleted by the administrator. So who can
delete them or how can I enable the administrator so they can do so.

Many Thanks

Right-click on them and choose "Permissions". Change the permissions to
allow you to write to those keys. You may need to become the owner.
Then you'll be able to delete them.

Once I have clicked on permissions (in the registry) could you please
walk me through the steps that would allow me to delete the 3 legacy
keys.
Thank you.
