Missing XP login screen missing on IBM lapto
Posted by Frispark on March 15th, 2006

I have recently bought a new IBM laptop.

Only problem is that I do not get the 'normal' XP login window but an IBM
window where I have to pounch in username which is not needed in the normal
XP login window.

I do I get the XP login window??

Thanx

It sounds like it may be set for a system password in the BIOS. It can be
turned off in the BIOS setup.

Thank you very much for your reply Malke!

I have followed the instructions but when I click 'Change the way users log
on or off' I get a message saying that another program has disabled this
feature and I have to remove this program - vrlogon.dll is name of the
program.

I think this is the IBM logon but I do not know how to remove this?
