Remembering window size
Posted by H.B. on October 11th, 2005

I am running XP, and lately when I open up a web page in a new window, it
opens it in a very small size. I have tried several suggestions trying to
get it to open a new window in the largest view and remember that setting,
but nothing seems to work. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
H.B.

Have you tried using the mouse to stretch the window to the size you want
and then closing that window by clicking on File and then Close? That's
what I do and I have no problems, works with IE, OE and Windows Explorer.

I tried your suggestion and that does not work for me. I was told once ago
to hold down the Ctrl. key when closing and that would work. I did
work............for a while, and now it doesn't.
Any other suggestions?
Thanks,
H.B.

Make sure you close all other IE windows before closing the stretched one.
