Save Toolbar settings of Windows Explorer
Posted by Sahdev on November 23rd, 2005

I have configured and personalized the Windows Explorer toolbar ( added some
new buttons and change the text size ) in a Windows XP computer that is on a
domain. I have limited rights.

I used to login another computer and I wish to save the settings of the
toolbar, so that it can be applied to another computer with ease. I can save
this setting in my Roaming drive.

I have tried to copy my complete profile, but it displays an error message
that some files are in use and it stops.

Any ideas how this can be done ??

Hi,

Sorry, but some settings are specific to the local user profile on the
system being used. This is one of them, I do not know of any way of copying
them from one system to another easily.
