Startup screens

Guys
I stupidly used a program to change my start up screens but as it
did weird things to my PC I removed the program.

Now when it boots up I get strange BMP's instead of the standard screens, is
there a way to get back the original screens without having to re-install
XP.

TIA

Elvey

If you can access System Restore in your XP,probably yes,but just probably !
Why did you use such a junk?

Start-Programs-Accessories-System Tools-System Restore
Restore your system to state a week before installing ^that junk^ that
touches where it doesn't have to.

Good luck !

Run the repair feature in XP..boot with your XP disc in your CD drive. Make
sure that your have your CD enabled as the boot drive in your bios. Follow
the prompts to run the repair. I find this site very good, I used it to run
a repair on my system...
