How can I set my properties to disconnect or knock me off of the internet
when a call comes into my phone line?

I'm thinking just disable the call waiting option in your modem properties.
*70 placed in front of the phone number you are dialing for your internet
connection enables the modem to ignor call waiting. If you remove the *70,
your call waiting should be disabled and any incoming call come through
while your on the internet.
