- windows xp system tray icon
- Posted by Loane Sharp on September 27th, 2005
Hi there
After searching high and low, I have found the perfect image for a system
tray icon. The following problem arises, however. The image's best visual
impression is obtained at 21x21 pixels rather than the standard icon sizes
(16x16 is small and indistinct, while 32x32 is large and clumsy, 21x21 is
just right). Is it possible to add an "icon" to the system tray when it
isn't contained in an .ico file? I'm using PNG format. Or am I way off
track?!
Best regards
Loane
