- Can no longer read VRO files under WinXP...
- Posted by Ian Roberts on January 6th, 2005
Hi
For some time I have been able to play the DVD-RW discs recorded on my
Pioneer DVR 5100 on my PC.
I dont know whats happened but I can no longer do this. Ive noticed two
things happen when I load the discs...
When I open Windows Media Player and try to select the drive letter for my
DVD (V
its greyed out and says "Drive not ready".
If I open the My Computer window the description given for my DVD Drive (V
changes from "DVD/CD Drive" to "CD Drive". If I then click on V: to open a
new window its empty!
It looks like its interpreting my DVD-RW discs as CD's
Any ideas how I can restore this so it works like before?
Thanks for any info
Ian
