- Combining Two DVDs
- Posted by Bruce on February 2nd, 2006
I TiVo'd a one hour concert with a TiVo DVD-r, the intent being to later
strip the audio and make an audio CD (.cda).
So that I didn't miss any of the concert, I set the TiVo to begin 1
minute before the concert and end 1 minute after the concert. To my
surprise (first time using the TiVo DVD-r), TiVo wouldn't record more
than 60 minutes without beginning another file, so I now have a 60 minute
DVD and a 2 minute DVD. They say part 1 and part 2.
The problem is that the last song, which is the one I really wanted, was
split across the two DVDs.
Is there a way to 'combine' these?
I have DVD Shrink, DVD Decryptor, Nero 5, and Roxio Easy Media Creator
Suite 8.
Thanks,
Bruce

Check out the thread ".mpg-demultiplex (take audio out of .mpg)"
on the "rec.video.desktop" NG. You can use VideoReDo on
the .vob files and it can do a frame accurate join as well as cuts.
