Can you have Roxio and Nero 6 on the same computer and have both of
them work?

Nero used to have software (and they still may) that allowed you to
choose nero or brand x at boot time. So you could use either one but
not without rebooting. Things may have changed in the last 3 years or
so but I'm exclusively a Nero person now.
At my office about half of us use Nero and the other half use Roxio.

The latest version of Nero and the latest version of EasyCD, the
answer is YES. As you're calling them Roxio and Nero6, I would
imagine this to be the case.
The myth that they don't play well together arises from a problem that
existed in the early days, with Nero ?1 or 2? and EasyCD/DirectCD v3.
Each would put stuff in the windows/system folder, and each would
overwrite the other's. The problem was more with DirectCD and Nero
than between EasyCD and Nero. Anyways, that was nearly a decade ago
when burners were starting to become popular, and the issue was
resolved years ago and won't come up unless you choose to use those
ancient versions.
