I have a PC with a Lite-On CD-RW/DVD-ROM combo drive (LTC-4816H) and an NEC
DVD±RW burner drive (ND-3500AG), which I have been attempting to use to copy
a data DVD with ~6GB worth of files to a (Mitsubishi) DVD+R DL blank disc
using Nero Express 6.3.1.12 (an OEM version that came with the DVD±RW
drive). I have tried using the disc copier program with the Quick Copy
option both on and off, at the lowest speed setting, but the copy has failed
every time with the following errors appearing in the log:
Text 0 File DVDPlusDualLayer.cpp, Line 421
L0 Data Zone Capacity set to 1657680 (194B50h, 3237MB) -> ERROR,
capacity different:
L0 Data Zone Capacity on disc: 2086912 (1FD800h,
2038MB)
L0 Data Zone Capacity requested to be set: 1657680 (194B50h,
3237MB)
CDR -1106 File ThreadedTransferInterface.cpp, Line 1607
Power calibration error
TRANSFER -27 File ThreadedTransferInterface.cpp, Line 1607
Could not perform start of Disc-at-once
What does all this mean? Why can't I copy this data DVD to a blank disc
that has more than enough available capacity?
