- Datawrite Reds and Pioneer 105

Anyone used this combination? Just wondering about the success ratio as I've
read conflicting reports. One thread suggested that incompatibility problems
were down to a "bad batch", but I'd like to be sure.
I have ten pieces of 4x Verbatim media to be going on with (nice freebie
from our supplier), but I'd like to get a few more discs without breaking
the bank.

Datawrite is crap on my Sony 510A. 9 coasters/ 1 success.

I must have the bad batch, i find them to only burn at 2x on my 105 and even
then some discs have errors after burning.

Bugger. Thanks for the replies. By the way, do your discs look like they've
been burned even before they have been used? Apparently that's how you can
spot the bad batch.

Datawrite Reds work fine on the 105, 100% write errors are usually down to
the user or the users system......
and at 80p per disc you can't go wrong ( I've also used the 4x yellow
without any problems)
regards
Paul

Just burned a red at 1x on a 105, coaster. Burned the same thing on a yellow
at 1x, no problem.

It's this cheap and nasty meida that people keep buying that is the
problem - works for you, a large percentage of people waste most of
the discs - how is that cheaper than paying more but writing perfectly
all the time (well, most of it?).
Bulkpaq this, red/grn/wht/bullocks top that - cheap tacky media most
of the time and a waste of money.
