Tried to burn a dual layer memorex dvd r + this morning on my NERO
ULTRA 6.6. Used the recode option, and the disc ended up coming out
wiht only one layer . The movie doesnt play in whole, but rather
obviously skips from one layer to another, obviously having been
recorded incomplete.

I set the burner to disc 9, for dual layer burning. Is there
something else i should have marked?

Don't use Nero for video. It is slow and I have had no end of problems with
the discs and video it does.

I use CloneDVD, but I don't need to convert video. If I did I would use...
Well, I don't know what I would use, but it wouldn't be Nero. Nero is good
for data, but not worth beans for video. I use version 7 btw.

I and many people I know have only burned several
thousand of video dvds using Nero with never a
single problem during the burn and all the copies
play flawlessly.

....... I noticed that the menu in NERO RECODE is saying that a chapter
index is out of place? Is this the problem? I used DVD fab express
to rip it.

any pointers?
