Then use http://shareconnector.com/ which indexes Emule's files.

Usually a little slower because it needs more shares but good films available.

How about buying content instead of it ripping off?

In article <nH0Cc.180$eL4.95@newsfe5-gui.server.ntli.net>,
tracymidd@hotmail.com says...
Are you in the U.S.? If so, you'd be much better off renting from your
local video store or getting a Netflix account than downloading crap
from Kazaa.

Your local DVD store. ;-)

Don't pay attention to most of these asswipes.. They all act like they "buy"
all of they're content but the truth of the matter is they don't. On top of
that they probably sell what they dowload or copy, just don't expect them to
tell you how to do the same.

Someone has already suggested Blockbuster. Many video stores not only
rent movies, but sell the DVDs as well. As for the others, you can
either go to a movie theater, or wait 3-6 months for it to come on
video.

If you lack a DVD player, there are several single disc stand alone
units for less than $60 Canadian (major retailers typically sell those
in the $75 range). There are numerous mail order outfits that sell
both the discs and hardware, if you are unable to get to a store.

If your tastes are more towards pornography, I'm sure your local video
store has a back room with that stuff, just ask the clerk. If you're
into porn that isn't available from legitimate stores, you should be
aware that most countries and I'd imagine most people on this planet
(this group included) take a dim view of child pornography and will
not assist you in this matter.

In answer to her question:
"i have been using kazaa lite to download films is there
anywhere else better than using KL"

I can pretty much guess exactly why her downloaded movies are
not playing, but am not going to help her breach copyright.

Perhaps try buying the movies from your local DVD store instead
of ripping off the companies who raise the prices to recover
these costs and pass them onto us the consumer! I for one,
don't like subsidizing people getting the movies for free when
I buy a DVD, in the same we consumers subsidize shoplifters
through paying inflated prices to recover these costs.

To recap, "anywhere else better" is any shop selling legit
copies of the films you wish to see on DVD.

as its a deleted title which has been deleted quite a few years.
I cannot get it on ebay I cannot get it on DVD, I cannot get it on video to
buy or rent this is why I want to find it on the internet so I can watch it
again.
just in case anyone has it I am looking for the film "THE COUNTRY GIRLS"

If any of you know where I can find this film to buy or rent then tell me
instead of naffing about criticising what you are all probably doing anyway.

thankyou for your non help in this search of mine i will now leave the group
altogether

If you are looking for "The Country Girls" starring Sam Neill,
then you might wish to contact London Films who produced the
movie for TV. They would be able to hook you up with a VHS or
DVD most likely, as they provide films for TV networks. Because
it was made for TV, you won't find it in any stores. I doubt
that you would even find it on any peer-to-peer networks.

It seems if your a newbie to this group or any of these dvd groups a simple
question no matter how innocent is met with hostility or sarcasm.
eg in another dvd group I asked a simple question about power settings and
one of the replies I got
was shitty power supply very helpful.
I agree that there can be a certain amout of wit and banter but why all the
hostility

Not the most efficient or the safest way to get your movies.
Use NewsGroups... fast, secure, the best thing in the world IMHO!

There's a guide at World File Share Day

http://www.wfsd.net

or directly...
