- DVD Menu
- Posted by Bill Jewell on October 1st, 2003
Just got a Sony DRU-510A and would like to create a DVD with several mpg
files. I would like to be able to put the DVD into a player and have a menu
pop up that lists all the files and then be able to start each one
separately. Is this possible and/or do I need a specailty piece of
software??????

Two programs that work for me are, B's DVD http://tinyurl.com/pe1g and
NeroVision Express 2 http://tinyurl.com/pe1l . Both of these programs convert
about 650MB of MPG's into to DVD format in about 2.5 hours (P4 2.66 750MB
RAM.) Each mpg can have it's own menu item. Nerovision express 2 comes
included as a part of Nero 6.0 (included with one of my burners), but it can
be purchased separately. I prefer Nerovision myself.

The Sony drive comes with Sonic MyDVD, which is all you need.

You mean like a mp3 CD?
A very few DVD players can do that.
Normally you have to author such files with
TMPGenc DVD Author or
DVD-lab or
etc.
