- DVD-R and system specification
- Posted by M Jones on April 21st, 2006
Hi all,
I want to purchase a Pioneer DVR-111 and start burning a few DIVX films I've
downloaded. My system is 1.6Ghz, 1 Gig RAM and 200Gb 7200 drive on
secondary slave.
I think my PC will be good enough to burn DVD but I was wondering how long
it would take to burn a typical 700Mb DIVX movie? I will probably have to
do some sort of conversion to allow my DVD player to read the disks (I'm in
the UK). Has anybody had experience of burning these types of disks with
the system spec. I have? I'd like to know how long it will take to convert
and then burn to get a decent quality player compatible disk.
Thanks.
